The Miniature Chinese Mountain Series, 2016-2022

These small-scale oil paintings are part of the Miniature Chinese Mountain Series, 2016-2022. They depict landscapes from places I visited while living and working in China. Each painting measures 12.3cm x 7.5cm and designed to fit into a custom made wooden box that allowed me to travel and fit the exhibition inside of a backpack. The outside of the wooden box contains names and signatures from friends and people I have met in China.
